Simply select the fruit or vegetable from the customizable settings, and you're good to go! The unit operates with simple touch navigation and comes preprogrammed with settings for 13 of the most common produce items. For operations requiring specific items, these can be designated and uploaded to the unit via WiFi. If specific individuals handle particular items, the system can be personalized so that each user is always on the correct setting.

For safety, the KA-700 operates as a single cycle, manually run machine. This means it will perform only one cycle and will not continue to rotate without the user pressing the run button.

Using the Zesting Blade, the KA-700 can perfectly zest entire pieces of citrus in a single pass with minimal pith. Bartenders will love the ability to create fresh garnishes for cocktails or ribbons of zest for house-made infused spirits.

From peaches to kiwis and even plums, the KA-700 is both effective and gentle on the softest delicate fruits, helping to maintain their integrity once peeled. The smooth, clean finish helps reduce oxidation and discoloration, resulting in a longer shelf life for the final cut product.

Each KA-700 model comes with three holding prongs and four different blades, allowing users to easily switch between products being peeled:

- **Flat 3 Prong**: For use on soft-flesh and stone items like kiwis, peaches, and lemons.

- **Citrus 5 Prong**: For use with oranges, grapefruits, and mangoes.

- **Peeler Saw Extra Thick Blade (S-1)**: For grapefruits, oranges, and onions.
